As is common throughout this part of Szent György Hill, there is no connection to the municipal water network. Instead, we use a rainwater collection system, which gathers rainwater into a cistern. The water is disinfected and, when necessary, supplemented with well water.
Although the water is safe for general use (such as showering and cleaning), we do not recommend it for drinking. For your comfort, we provide bottled drinking water in the accommodation, and we are happy to replenish it at any time upon request.
Yes, so far none of our guests have had any issues reaching the house by car, even via the dirt road.
However, please note that during or after heavy rain, the road may become more difficult to navigate, so we recommend driving carefully.
Please note that larger vehicles, such as trucks, may have difficulty accessing the property due to the terrain.
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own movies to enjoy in our home cinema. The system supports USB drives, and you can watch video files directly from your USB stick.
You can also connect a gaming console to the system. However, please note that to use the sound system, your device must have a digital optical audio output.
Our home cinema, located in the cellar, is equipped with a Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound system, featuring five speakers and a subwoofer. The acoustics of the cellar provide an excellent environment for enjoying movies with immersive sound quality.
Please note that 5.1 surround sound availability depends on the source—not all streaming services currently support this format.
You are also welcome to connect your own devices, such as gaming consoles. The sound system supports digital optical audio input, so to use the full surround sound experience, your device must have an optical audio output.
For the comfort of our neighbors, we kindly ask guests to keep the cellar door closed during movie sessions.
